Packaging Design & Commercial Practice
This body of work reflects my experience designing and delivering packaging solutions within a corporate, fast-paced environment.
Due to client confidentially, I cannot show a large majority of my work, however I have taken the opportunity to develop packaging for brands I wish to work with and mock brands to demonstrate the skills I have gained from my time working in the corrugated packaging industry.
Working with global FMCG and E-Commerce brands, I’ve developed strong technical skills to translate marketing strategy into impactful, commercially viable packaging—balancing brand storytelling, technical constraints, and sustainability considerations
Whilst completing my CISL course in sustainable marketing, I began to think about my role as a corrugate designer, and the role packaging has on our perception of value.
These renders are an exploration of an idea I had, where the packaging on a day to day product, is marketed to encourage more sustainable shopping habits:
- Leverage the edges of the box to tell the story of the food’s origin and make consumers question their role in the food system
- Humanise the product by showcasing the people behind the food
- Update the packaging design to feel contemporary and modern
